Swf files and scrollbar text don't work on Windows 8.1

Hello guys, my english isn't so good ://
I'm having trouble with OBS 32 and 64 bits on windows 8.1.

No, my problem doesn't disappear when I run in administrator mode :((
When I was using windows 7, had set up some things with the Teeboard ((https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/teeboard.45/)), to my surprise, some swf files were not executed!
When I open the html file in chrome and internet explore, work perfectly.
Same thing in teeboard just does not work in OBS:

What I need to do?
Should I go back to windows 7? :///

tks :D

Check the TeeBoard help (F1) -> Widgets and make sure to follow the instructions there, namely.

- CLR Browser -> Single Process
- Install Flash player for "other browsers"

The video set in Misc. Widgets> Media are reproduced, nothing else.

Flash player for "other browsers" had already been installed.
CLR Browser ~> Runtime ~> Single Process = False

And yeah, all settings are following Teeboard Help.

Single Process needs to be "True". And when changing it from False to True you have to restart OBS.

If you're referring to the html/javascript notifications you can do whatever you want. Chromium and thus CLR Browser doesn't support apng (animated png's), other than that, the world is your oyster.

Hey DeezjaVu, maybe you can clarify something for me since I'm not having any luck with google. Is a Quicktime PNG the same as an animated PNG? I know there is something formally called an Animated PNG, but I couldn't find any resources if a PNG + Alpha or Quicktime PNG was the same and if they would work with TeeBoard.

For example, i was thinking of using this as one of the notifications:
http://videohive.net/item/metal-bla...60?WT.ac=category_item&WT.z_author=Zet-visual

Thanks for your support! The tool really is amazing!

Not sure what you mean by a QT PNG. If you're thinking of a .mov video with PNG compression, then yes that supports alpha.
If you're looking to do a video with alpha channel, I'd go with exporting from After Effects to FLV with alpha channel and use Flash (swf) for display in OBS.

TeeBoard comes with a Flash library (swc) that allows you to connect with TeeBoard from within a swf. Unfortunately I haven't really documented this yet. Someone has already made use of it though and you can see it in action here: http://www.twitch.tv/thepixelpirate/c/4878448?t=150s

Yeah that was definitely new terminology for me too. In that link I put in the video advertising the .mov said it was a quicktime PNG. Threw me off and couldn't find anything on the internet.

Thanks for the quick reply! Massively thankful!

Ah, in that case they're referring to the compression type used for the .mov. When exporting a video via QT you get the option to choose from a list of compression types of which one is PNG.

I don't know how CLR Browser handles transparent mov videos though.

Is it possible to add Text rotation to your app? I'm looking to show my latest followers/ donations and basic text like follow the channel. Would be cool to take parts of your app like who just followed and run it in a rotating animation.

Out of the box, no, but you could totally create your own custom widget to do just that. This video explains how to customize the html/javascript notification widget:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QYizkLzC8Po

Using TweenLite - the animation engine that is used in the html/javascript widget - you could run a repeating animation. Alternatively, if you have Flash skills you can create your own animation widget and hook it up to TeeBoard, something along the lines of what ThePixelPirate did:

Sorry if this has been requested/answered before, but will you be updating/adding imraising.tv to the donation trackers? I didnt have an account made before they moved imraising.com > imraising.tv so haven't been able to use the tracker.

If they changed it, I'll have to look into it. But for me ImRaising.com still works.

Is it possible to add an update timer option for the viewers count? Between 5 seconds and longer? Now its refreshes like every 60 to 120 secs. Wish it was more realtime.

The view count is updated every 5 minutes (default) which is the time set in the Stream Stats tab. This is not very likely to change - and realtime is out of the question - as TeeBoard already makes a bunch of requests (followers, subs, donations, now playing, chat, etc..). Durations are set in order of importance, chat is realtime, now playing is 10 seconds, followers is 30 seconds, and so on. View count is at the end of that line.

If you use an IRC client - which I highly recommend - you can see the number of people in chat at all times.

Would be sweet if you could look into it when you can.

ImRaising.com still works for those who had an account before they moved to their new version. All new users are told to make their accounts at ImRaising.tv and I tried to use it to login to ImRaising.com but sadly it didn't work so I just get an error on Teeboard when trying to add my account.

Heya buddy.

First of all, I simply love your software. I use it and promote it all the time during my livestreams.

I've got a question which I can't seem to figure out. With the default (flash) "notification" widget, I am having trouble finding the correct place to edit the size of the font. The way it is now, is that if someone with an larger username follows, it "cuts off" some of the text. Is there any place where I can edit the font to a smaller size, so that it will properly fit inside the widget, or am i overlooking something simple?

Either way, keep up the awesome work buddy!

Trying to switch to the new ImRaising.tv API in TeeBoard will not work. For now you'll still have to use the old imraising.com credentials. Support for the new API will be in the next update.

Are you setting the notification to display across the width of the screen/stream? Because that's how it is intended. When set to the full width of the stream, one would have to have a really long name to not display properly.

If you don't want to display it at the full width of the stream, I suggest looking into the html/javascript version. That allows for complete customization (via CSS).
