Yes, the rewrite is the Multiplatform version. However, support is only present for Windows right now. I don't know the state of HD PVR Linux drivers.

Sorry for reviving the post, but, in the current versions of OBS multiplatform for windows, is this device (HD PVR 1212) açready compatible, and live streaming capable?

Just got a capture a capture lost in the mail, and this one is the only one that i found cheap for me at me moment :(

I also wonder about that. Is the HD PVR supported by OBS Studio by now?

On windows it should be supported for quite some time, as Dodgepong already mentioned.
