Hi, I have been using OBS to record for about a year now, and I always used the NVENC H.264 encoder. One day, it just stopped working. I was confused, so I updated to the newer version, and it still didn't work. I went and googled, I tried everything. I uninstalled it then reinstalled it, changed some of the settings around, and I
updated my drivers multiple times. I later went back to OBS 22.0.2 because it is my favorite version. I then got the AMD encoders and they still don't work that well. (The H265/ Hevc and H264/ AVC.) While they work, it still is very slow. I can't use my CPU to record because it lags my software like crazy. Please help, I am very desperate.

You did configure OBS to use nvenc as encoder, but you don't have a Nvidia GPU built in your PC, so you don't have Nvenc available. Nvenc is a hardware circuit in Nvidia GPUs. No Nvidia GPU means no Nvenc. Change to a different encoder.

Ok, thank you.

Where could I get an encoder to use my GPU for AMD?

Update OBS (you have a rather old one installed) and your graphics driver to the latest version. Then look into the output settings for steaming and recording and see what encoders are available in the "Encoder" drop down boxes. OBS will recognize available and supported encoders and offer them in these drop down boxes.
