Question / Help Some games refuse to work no matter what, and I'm rather new to OBS

I'm still figuring stuff out about this app, but my biggest problem is that I CAN record hollow Knight, Terraria, Brawlhalla, Shovel Knight, Ori (both gmes), but i CANNOT record Rivals of Aether or Celeste. Game capture previews a gray or black screen and I can't figure this out. I tried running as admin and I have a specific window targetted for each game. I've tried window capture as well and that won't work either. Please help!
 
Have you tried game capture and running OBS as admin.

IF so and that doesn't work, provide an OBS log
 
Make sure the games are all set to run on the high performance graphics in your windows settings app.
 
Why is obs recording my vids normally but when i look at them they really were just recorded at the wrong resolution so some of the screen is cut off its kinda annoying and windows game DVR has been BSOD-ing my PC a lot
