Yeah i think the system info will be a great addition to :)

Small update is deployed today with the next changes:

=== Version 1.8.1.0

+ Ability to choose a soundfile for countdown implemented (.wav)
(Standard windows .wav files are located in c:\\Windows\Media)
+ Chrono Down: Remove timespans equal to zero option will keep the
string infront of the timespan itself.

Re: [TOOL] Snaz / Stream pc time-countdown and more live 1.8

I still had my old line in for the Chrono Down: Stream starting in $m:$s
which resulted in this error:

Code:
************** Exception Text **************
System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Length cannot be less than zero.
Parameter name: length
at System.String.InternalSubStringWithChecks(Int32 startIndex, Int32 length, Boolean fAlwaysCopy)
   at Snaz.MainForm.timerChronoDown_Tick(Object sender, EventArgs e)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.OnTick(EventArgs e)
   at System.Windows.Forms.Timer.TimerNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m)
at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam)

So I changed it to "Stream starting in $h:$m:$s" and it works fine now :) If someone else runs into this problem!

Yes Sir, i can assure you if u download the software from my website ... http://jimmyappelt.be/snaz it is 100% safe.

The problem only occurs only when people using Norton. Maybe disable norton - install snaz - re-enable norton.

Norton is really a pain in the a** i found, for no reason at all!

Hi,

Would be helpful if u give me more details.

U get an error ?
What is it exactly that doesn't work ? The installation, upgrade or a specific feature ... ?
What OS are u using, what version of snaz are u using, etc...

Hello, version 1.8.1.2 downloaded from your website doesn't work on my machine (Windows 7 64-Bits).

When I launch the application it appears in the processes list, loads up memory to some fixed point (14 376 K), gets stuck there for 10 seconds and then closes itself. No window visible anywhere.

Launching the application with admin privileges presents the same behavior, only difference being that it loads up to 15 032 K.

I have no idea where the problem might come from (maybe dependencies?). I have never used Snaz before so I can't tell if the problem comes from this specific version or my computer. If you have an older version I could download, I can check ;)

By coincidence i'm working on a win 7 64bits system right now ... performed a fresh install on the machine and running fine.

Do u see an icon in the taskbar maybe ?

Nope, no icon. As I said, no window's launching, it appears in the processes list but that's it... :(

Stranges yes ... give me like 20-30 minutes i'l recompile the installer en deploy a recompiled version (will be 1.8.1.3)

So should be up in that given time.

Maybe deinstall snaz for now and check your appdata folder for any previous settings that were saved.
Somewhere like C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\JimsApps -->> delete all folders here if any

Yup. No JimsApps nor Snaz folder found in AppData\Local nor AppData\Roaming, but while I was in there I found Snaz.exe dump files, I opened them with Visual Studio and the exception code seems to be 0xE0434352. Each file was identical apart from the process call time, so I uploaded only one that you can download here.
