RewardsTheater

RewardsTheater 1.1.4

Hi, you are allowed to use it of course. You can even just remove the check from the source code if you wanted to, the plugin is open source. Or, you could just click "yes" on the question about whether you support basic human and democratic values and then proceed normally. If simply clicking "yes" offends you, then perhaps you should think about why that's the case, and what you support by your inaction. Cheers :)
I don't understand how this will help the world and why I should return to a problem that disgusts me, because of this I lost most of my friends and try to distance myself from it as much as possible. but people don't understand this and always stick their noses into their own business. how can my position help in this situation? And why can't I remain neutral? Why am I being forced to take sides?

Thank you for this plugin it has made my life so much easier! Though ever since July I've been running into an issue.
Every single time I open OBS the theater asks to re-authorize with twitch. I've done it both with the option via browser and also using the link to get the access token, but neither seems to keep authorization for more than one session.
For awhile this was just inconvenient and I just adapted, but it eventually swapped to a 50/50 chance of when opening OBS the rewards popup stops responding and crashes obs. In which I just have to keep opening and closing OBS until the popup lets me authorize.

Most recent time it happened though I happened to have task manager up and noticed that while the popup to authroize was in OBS it was nonstop opening more OBS webpages in the background (Im guessing that's why OBS will eventually just crash)

Hi, thanks for reporting the issue! What do you mean by "opening more webpages"? Did you mean "creating more OBS processes"? Or actually opening a web page in a browser?

Hi there, I've been using this plugin for a while on Windows but I recently swapped to Fedora Linux. Can this work on Fedora at all? I can't figure out how to build it from source if so.

Hey there! Fantastic plugin, it's been a breeze to use. I notice that my files play immediately after redeeming channel points, but I was wondering if there was any way to buffer that some, OR play the Twitch custom alert notification first so I have a few seconds to prepare for a video popping up on-screen? Thanks so much!

I'm having a really hard time maintaining the "shuffle" function. It seems like every time my reward is chosen, and the video plays from the directory, RewardsTheater arbitrarily unchecks "shuffle" and "loop" and it constantly plays the first clip in the list. Is this user error and I'm doing something wrong? (MAC OS Tahoe 26.2)

Thanks!

Hi, unchecking those is actually intended because the plugin automatically chooses a random video from the playlist; however only playing the first video is not expected, of course. Would you mind sharing the OBS version as well as VLC version? I'll try to look at the issue over the weekend

My OBS version is 32.0.4 (64 bit) & my VLC version is 3.0.23 Ventinari (Apple Silicon).

Generally, I using an .m3u playlist file (that's when it almost always plays the first video file only) is a no-go, so I've found that using a directory or just uploading the individual files into a RewardsTheater Playlist gives me the best luck -- though, again, it seems kind of arbitrary whether or not it's doing a shuffle. I have over 25 video files, but it often just plays the same ones and mostly in order.

Thanks so much again for your help!
