The commit is fine, it's been tested and verified as working for both 32bit games and 64bit games. I'm not entirely sure what's going on with planetside 2 though. Sometimes I don't always have the answers to what's going on.

Strange thing is that I can stream PS2 while in fullscreen window by OBS window capture, but I can't (PS2 crash) while in fullscreen mode by game capture...

That's because Game Capture actually injects itself into the game's process, it's way more invasive than Window Capture, making things more prone to go awry as a result.

Started having the same problem also. Win 8.1, AMD 7970 14.6b1 drivers, Landmar/Planetside2 both CTD on capture.

Enabling Anti-Cheat hook didn't help any.

Window mode seems to work instead.

Ok, looks like an issue with the obs game hook in combination with forgelight engine x64 on Windows 8 / 8.1 then (as it happens in both PS2 and Landmark).

Doesn't happen for me on Windows 7/x64.

It has something to do with the latest Windows Updates for Win 8.1

Last night OBS and Planetside 2 was working fine, I restarted my computer last night to install some WIndows updates, and now OBS and Planetside 2 is not working. Planetside 2 has not pushed any updates recently.

I was using Game Capture. 64 bit client both for PS2 and OBS. 32 bit does not work as well so I don't think its a 64 bit related problem.

I will try the workaround of using either WIn7 compatibility or WIndows Capture.

Same issue here. OBS 64-bit & Planetside 2 64-bit, working perfectly over the weekend, Sunday night installed windows update for Win 8.1.... CTD when using preview/capture via Game Capture. No other known changes to system (same drivers, Patch level on PS2, etc).

Will try Win7 compatibility, etc.

Not sure if I can do anything about it in that case -- I updated the code for the latest windows 8.1 directx 9 version. It could possibly be a conflict or something.

4424 Error VivoxSystem::EventAccessorKey::SetEvent Assertion Failure - 'a == b'

I was having a similar issue. I didn't have it until I upgraded to Windows 8.1. What I posted above is the line that was in a crash log.

Is it possible to run PS2 in 32bit at all? I'm not sure if there's anything I can do about this for the time being
