im sure that this control menu exists in the system tray on windows but ill just be showing the mac menubar for now:
for my use case, i pause recordings a lot whilst i find things just so i can keep what little storage i have + it makes it easier when i get to my editing phase. but one thing i wish for is to be able to pause from my menu bar. it eliminates one extra step, i get to keep my spot in the app im currently using and its faster than going over to my other desktop in mission control and unminimizing the obs app to pause my recording (and then repeating the process to unpause).
just might be a nice QoL improvement, i can also imagine it being helpful for those with one display ^_^
