Question / Help OBS suddenly makes my entire computer lag when opened

I'm not sure what is going on, this is out of no where. Typically everything runs just fine. I have a large stream set up and a gaming pc to back it up.
I went to record a video today using OBS and out of no where I simply opened it and had an array of problems. My audio devices were not being picked up(fixed now) and whenever I joined discord it would disconnect my microphone from discord(not fixed). However, my main concern is when i merely open OBS I'll get infrequent lag for no reason. I'm not running anything heavy on the computer and I'm not streaming or even recording. I'm at a total loss.
I'm hoping someone can help me.

I've tried reverting to an older version.
I've tried to reinstall it
Changed a bunch of settings around
Tried Deleting scenes

I just don't get it, everything was fine with it and now today it's crazy. I can't imagine an update did this.

This is has to be the root of the issue.Try a new scene collection and minimize the browser sources.

I've got this problem too today, i fixed it by unplugging the USB capture device.
Don't know if you have same problem, but you can try (also maybe try unplug webcam)
