Question / Help OBS Suddenly crashing

Hello,

i am using OBS Studio for livestreaming almost every day the past 6 weeks and i never had any problems with it. But today i had 5 crashes during a 10h livestream and i do not know exactly what could cause those problems.

Today i changed the encoding setting from "very-fast" to "faster" - yes i know that this is a bit heavy but it didn't impact my system and i didn't drop a single frame until OBS crashed. After the second crash i reverted the setting to back "veryfast" but OBS crashed 3 more times with the same setting i used for the past 6 weeks.

I included as many logs from today as possible in hope someone can find something in them....

Windows also logged some informations as Event ID 1000 - Application Error:

It means the stack is corrupted, and that means the crashlog writer didn't know where the crash has happened. Worst case for troubleshooting and debugging.

In case you have plugins installed or 3rd party capture device drivers, make sure they are all updated to the most current version. Or, to make sure, uninstall them and see if OBS becomes more stable.

Make sure the BIOS is up to date for your motherboard, Ryzens with outdated microcode are known to crash.

Last BIOS for ASUS Prime x370 Pro is dated Sept. 19th 2019 and i installed that already months ago. My system was running fine the past weeks and nothing has been changed except windows updates. What about the error in the evenlog regarding browser.dll? Is it possible that streamelements has updated the alertsystem and browser.dll cannot handle it correctly?

Just to be sure i checked again if there are any updates for mainboard, BIOS etc... - ASUS Ai Suite cannot find anything.
