OBS recording quality is poor

Hello everyone,

I am using OBS to record specific windows (Chrome, Visual Studio Code and Powerpoint Presentation) and use Automatic Scene Switcher to switch between them. I concluded that the quality of the recording is poor.

I use the following settings:

I was testing just to compare the quality and if I record with Clipchamp, I see a better quality, but I need to use OBS due to specific settings.

Does anyone know what I am doing wrong that my recording quality is not the expected one? Thank you!

Hello @Tomasz Góral ! Thank you for your reply. Please help me better understand your suggestion.
1 - "Bitrate too low" - I am recording Chrome, Visual Studio Code and Powerpoint presentation, so nothing fancy, no gaming. What would you recommend for this?

2 - "worst encoder check on x264 or if you have nvenc" - are you saying that the encoder I am using, "QuickSync H.264" is the worst encoder and that I should try x264 or nvenc? (nvenc doesn't work due to my graphics card)

QSV = x264 profile superfast
NVENC (i know your card don't have chip), last version = x264 slow
*in my feeling.

Check on x264 profile: fast
