Free OBS-HUD 1.0.0

I'm getting a repeated popup error "Error 105 Process could not be opened" when attempting to run OBS as an administrator. I need to run OBS as an administrator to capture certain games.

Using OBS HUD version 0.9.4 and OBS version 30.2.3

Haven't updated because a plugin I rely on has been discontinued by the author and I'm afraid that updating could break this plugin as it has in the past.

I'm unsure how to fix it, but figured reporting it here would be a good idea.

UPDATE: I've updated to OBS HUD 0.9.11 without issue, but running as administrator still shows up in OBS HUD as unsupported under the version number section.

Try running OBS-HUD with administrator privileges; that should resolve the issue.

Apologies for not seeing this post sooner.

Rubik's Cube is correct. OBS-HUD and OBS must be run at the same permission level (or OBS-HUD must be superior). Later versions of OBS-HUD have an updated error message to better explain this issue:

That being said, a great feature to add would be the ability to choose which order these overlays appear in if possible. I feel like recording should take priority over the virtual webcam for example. It would be nice to display them at full opacity, but the order in which the overlays are layered.

Mostly I just wish that the recording overlay took priority over the replay overlay. Having it switch from a blue border to red when recording with the overlay always on would be nice.

Just a feature suggestion though and I hope I'm not coming across as demanding since I realize maintaining this tool is a lot of work and I'm not owed anything. Want to make that clear because I know a lot of people don't have their work appreciated when it comes to people requesting features.

OBS-HUD v1 has been released and includes fully customizable HUD layering :). Use the new "HUD Stack Priority" control to set your preference. Let me know if you have questions or issues.

Try running OBS-HUD with administrator privileges; that should resolve the issue.

Thank you. Certain games needed OBS to be run as administrator in order to hook properly and this error wasn't clear on how to resolve the issue.
