Our OBS computer that is doing the actual streaming is dedicated, largely runs unattended, and doesn't even have a camera installed. It is in the media department, and receives an NDI broadcast from where the content capturing is actually being done. The computer with the camera actually capturing the action has OBS running in full screen mode and no docks showing so that those in that area can see what's (potentially) being streamed. It is running a transparent, locked screensaver so those folks can't mess with anything. But while they can see what the camera sees, they don't really have a way to know if they're actually "on air", since the streaming is done from the beefier media computer. This tool would be perfect for my use if it had both a local and remote mode, where you could point it to a remote OBS instance (presumably via websockets) so the streaming/etc icons could show on the more relevant/useful screen. Big ask I realize, just dropping that in here in case that demand is out there.
