But, when I try to add a new video capture device, after naming and pressing ok to the next step of the selection screen, obs freezes. The video workspace still works however, it will not respond and will be permanently stuck on loading. And before you ask, I have tried installing an older version and reinstalling it, but I still appreciate the help.
for some more information, it has worked before, however, it would not work now, I'm not sure if it's windows 11 or the new updates on obs that are causing this.
