Bug Report OBS FPS Lag

So I have been recording videos and I noticed when I watch the video after finishing, it has this lag.... it would tend to skip frames and when I checked the only thing that popped up was high CPU usage even though my CPU settings are at the minimum. For example it's at ultrafast. Here is the log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/X3pmGmfmgHQ52oyf if the log file doesn't work tell me I am new to log files.

Alrighty, a lot to unpack here. The following should help:

1) You have OBS running on your Intel GPU, which you don't want for gaming. Follow these instructions to ensure OBS runs on the NVIDIA GPU, and once you've done that go into your Game Capture source's settings and disable Crossfire/CLI mode (slow). It's labelled Slow for a reason. Make sure your game is also running on the NVIDIA graphics card for the best performance.
2) Keep a close eye on CPU and GPU usage in task manager - and try to keep them below 90% each (especially CPU)
3) As you're on Windows 10, be sure to disable Game Mode.

Once you've done all of this, try another recording attempt and upload the log here. The best way is to hit "Stop Recording" then immediately click Help -> Log Files -> Upload Current Log.

Thanks, this seems a lot but these will help expect for the Crossfire/CLI mode. Let me explain: without enabling crossfire, I can't use game capture and for some reason window capture seems to glitch out whenever I try to use it to capture a game, but that would be a entire other forum. So I will try the following suggestions above.

Okay, while doing your solutions, I ran into a few problems: 1. Game mode is not there. Okay so let me explain, when I went to settings to disable game mode, nothing appeared than "This PC supports Game Mode" I don't know what that means but I don't see a option to disable game mode. I tried regedit.exe and nothing appeared in the game mode folder expect for one thing, "Default".

But one thing that did work was switching my GPU to NVIDIA worked. I'll test window capture and report back.

Not looking good... window capture not working here's a log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/Y_AvV61w3rzw5QoC
window capture giving me a black screen even though I followed instructions to make it not have a black screen.
You will need to disable hardware acceleration for window capture to work properly on Google Chrome. Follow these steps to disable it:

1. Open Chrome Settings
2. In the Search settings box, type in hardware
3. Click the slider next to Use hardware acceleration when available
4. Click Relaunch to restart Chrome

Note: Disabling hardware acceleration can cause performance loss on certain web pages.

In terms of game mode, that means you're not on 1809 yet. Go to the next section of that page for the older instructions. Remember to follow every step.

Thank you! Window capture for chrome and game capture for my games is working again. Expect for the fact that window capture gives me a white screen whenever I try to capture a game, but that's not really a issue for me right now.
