OBS crashes when starting stream

after around 2 - 5 seconds every time I click "start stream" to youtube, OBS would hang for a few seconds then crash. There are some rare occasions it doesn't crash. I use the stream elements add on as well (SE Live) and I tried uninstalling it and running OBS on it's own but it still crashes so I don't know if that adds to the problem or not.

You're using SE.live plugin. Please contact them for support.
Alternatively, uninstall it. Then uninstall and reinstall OBS in order to fix the changes made by this plugin. Now please do a test stream/recording of more than 30 seconds and post the log file here.

I did as you asked, uninstalled SE.live, uninstalled OBS and then reinstalled OBS. I then did a 30 second test recording then 30 second test streaming and it's still the same results. Recording goes fine but OBS still hangs then crashes most of the time I begin streaming, it was rare for me to actually get the stream running. Here are the logs for both a successful & unsuccessful attempt.

I suggested update windows 10, not go for 11 which has issues for many people.

I apologize for this, but when OBS crashes it generates a crash report. You can upload the crash report from within Help menu too, or access the folder where the reports are stored so you can attach in here a few of them (2 or 3)

If you didn't updated yet to the last versions of the nvidia drivers, please do so.

If you have instaled plugins, please check for updates on this plugins and if they're compatible with latest versions of OBS. If you don't use this plugins, simple remove them to avoid issues.

I went back to windows 10 and updated to the latest version. Still no changes.

I sadly don't receive a crash report whenever this happens. Not even an error message appears.

My nvidia drivers are up to date and I even tried reinstalling them to no avail.

I don't have any new plugins and everything I have currently is what came with OBS when I reinstalled it.

OBS does not make crash reports when crashing...
Also the logs and the analyze report always says the same... "blabla, it's your network", which is a BS statement to read, when you have 1000/100 mbit running at full speed with ANYTHING else than OBS youtube stream.

Since it doesn't crash during the recording but crashes when streaming, just wondering if it the OP's Wi-Fi?

Your issue is something else but I need a OBS is log to see what's going on.
I wish I could... can't even get it to stream 5 secs at the moment. It connects to the pre-planned live stream, Youtube states connection is great, then OBS goes down. No crash report or anything. Just did another re-install after trying v 30.0.1

No crash log but there's still a session log created.

Hm... managed to get it going again... running at 15000 now, but I had to connect with stream key instead of "connecting account"

If I try to connect account again, it crashes OBS without report.
If I go above 20000 in bit rate, I get 30% frame drops. 15000 is stable.

Very weird and confusing.

Update...

Ok I managed to get this now. I don't know why it suddenly wanted to stream at 19000 again, but it did. I then stopped the stream to see if I could go above 20000 and it stopped. Restarting at 19000 seems to run ok, past 40 secs atm

I'm not familiar with streaming in that Color Format so I'm just going to assume you've got it correct.

Dropped frames/stalls @ 19 & 21k. The first time you tried 19k it looked OK but the 2nd time, not so good. Are you on cable? Try 16k.

I also noticed Panda Dome anti-virus, not sure if that's causing some issues. Never heard of it.

Also, the local connection info appears to have been removed/not copied to the thread.

Yep cabled. Cat7 double shielded

Dunno about the local connection info, this is the file in its entirety.

Panda is a firewall / av, but obs has exceptions going through it.

I might try again later, its just disheartening that is has to be so complicated. I wonder if its youtube that has some faulty stuff going on in their end.
