Question / Help OBS Crashes when previewing or streaming with Elgato

It is instant, as soon as I it preview or Start Streaming it crashes.

Crashlog:
OBS has encountered an unhandled exception and has terminated. If you are able to
reproduce this crash, please submit this crash report on the forums at
https://obsproject.com/ - include the contents of this crash log and the
minidump .dmp file (if available) as well as your regular OBS log files and
a description of what you were doing at the time of the crash.

This crash appears to have occured in the 'c:\program files (x86)\obs\plugins\dshowplugin.dll' module.

I have the same issue. Unfortunately my post has not gotten any replies to confirm or deny that anyone is working on this.

My issue is with Windows 10, which I'm assuming yours is as well? Your log says 6.2 but I'm guessing that's just another glitch with the software not knowing what Windows 10 is? I'm still waiting on Elgato to reply to my e-mail about issues regarding its own streaming software it comes with.

Edit:

I just received an e-mail from Elgato about my issue. They are aware of the issues and are working on them and ask that any elgato user experiencing issues to download their Windows Reporter Utility and e-mail the results to them as well as a detailed explanation of the issues you are having.

I think it has to do with your GPU, try updating to the latest drivers and see what happens.
Also I don't know what you are using but use the x.264 encoder if possible.
