Hi,
I use OBS exclusively to record my screen for some lectures. It was working fine until an auto-update happened yesterday. Now whenever I select my scree to capture, OBS crashes.

Did you find a solution? It started crashing for me too right after I select the screen to record. Didn't update Ubuntu nor OBS (which I believe was on the latest stable version anyways).

Tried reinstalling to no success either.

EDIT: I had the version downloaded from the Ubuntu Software . I removed that one and installed OBS using the instructions found here: https://obsproject.com/kb/linux-installation

And now it works again. Can't tell what was wrong with the other version. As I said, I didn't update that one..
