So even with Game Capture I cannot get this to work without a 2nd monitor. Any news on when you will be getting around to an update?

Sadly, I have tried about everything I know to fix the problem you are having. So I'm afraid there won't be an update for that specific problem soon.
I do have plans to work on another feature that was requested to me earlier, which I hope I will have some time for soon.

Could someone write me the code for Basic US with LMB / RMB all in one?
I am hoping for Basic US layout, but remove the Insert, Home, Page Up, etc. and also remove the arrow keys.
In the same spot, have the LMB and RMB and if possible middle mouse button as well.

I would like to skin my layout, and for the layout use for example keys from razer keyboard, is it possible?

What exactly do you mean by skin? I can't make it look exactly like that keyboard with textures and all. Although for a keyboard layout. that keyboard is exactly the us_intl layout, you can play with the colors yourself to make it look more like that keyboard.

i think what he means is basically the ability to replace the background panel itself (the color) with an image so that he could say manually overlay his keys onto there or basically just be able to use images rather than flat colors chosen via a color picker.

You can easily already do this by making the background color transparent using window capture feature, and then drawing your own background/overlay for the text in paint/photoshop. Just align the letters and the overlay together.Cloudwolf said:

Hi! I am new to OBS, so bear with me if my questions seem stupid.

If you want it to be visible on a stream or a video, then yes. You need OBS to capture the game, and to capture NohBoard on top of it. Note that NohBoard can be anywhere, as long as you capture it as a different source, you can place it anywhere in the stream within OBS.
By the way, thanks for linking a video of someone using NohBoard. It's entirely awesome to see different people using a tool I made.

For question number one: Fullscreen applications stop the rendering of windows behind them. So if you have no second monitor to put NohBoard on, you will have to run BF4 in borderless window mode. (I personally do this for all games) This is by the way also mentioned in the main post under known bugs. (Its also mentioned that you can try to use gamecapture in this case, but it might not help)
To change the position of nohboard on your stream you just have to move it inside OBS. Activate the edit scene button (only possible while previewing or streaming) and you can drag the nohboard capture around as you want to.

Not exactly related to NohBoard, however also with BF4, and I cannot find the answer.
Any source or scene I choose (clan logo .jpg or webcam input) can be shown on my stream over BF4. I haven't had problems with Borderlands or other games at this point.
Can someone point me in the right direction please?
