some reason i'm getting horrible FPS no matter how i set this up can someone help...
I've been told my computer is more than enough to stream CS GO and i've tried everything i can think of...

I've tried using both *not at the same time of course* Monitor Capture and using Game Capture with the same settings and i'm getting the same horrible performance.

comp specs

OS: Windows 7 Pro 64bit

CPU: Intel Core i7 3930K @ 3.20GHz

RAM: 16GB DDR3 @ 800MHz

Motherboard: AsusTeK computer inc p9x79 pro

Graphics: 2x NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780 (EVGA) (SLI Enabled) *but still screws up even if it's off*

Hard Drive: 2907GB ATA ST3000DM001-1CH1 SCSI Disk Device (SATA)

Optical Drives
ASUS BC-12B1ST SCSI CdRom Device

Audio
Realtek High Definition Audio

Power Supply : Corsair HX 1050

OBS settings

Video Capture
Encoding: x264
use CBR
enable CBR padding
max bit : 3500
buffer size 3500 (tried lowering max + buffer together and buffers lower than max but still not working)

Video
Custom 1920 x 1080 (also tried 800 x600 but still horrible)

res downscare : 1.50 (1280x720)
filter: bilinear (fastest)
FPS 60 (tried lowering to 30 but no improvement shows... streaming at 30 fps for CS is just horrible anyhow)
disable aero (checked)

(I left the Advanced tag alone except)

x264 CPU preset : veryfast
encoding profile : high

^ i've downscaled these and nothing changed so i put it back to default.

My speedtest where i'm from is (Vancouver British Columbia Canada)

my speed test from L.A. California, USA

my speed test from San Antonio Texas, USA

my FMS URL was set at San Fran but i've changed it to Dallas TX since my speedtest was a lot better from there... it has improved my FPS/ stream performance ever so slightly but it's still not good enough and i really want to be able to stream at the highest possible settings... (CS GO settings everything is set to none or low except 4x Anti aliasing.

Did you check the "Use Multithreaded Optimizations" found at the Advanced tab?

You can also try to run OBS as administrator.

Would help a lot if you could upload your log file and post a link to it here, so people can see whats wrong.

Have you tested with these settings? Resolution downscale: 1.50 (720p), FPS 30, Process Priority Class: High, Encoding Profile: main.

Iv'e heard that max. recommended bitrate for 720p30 resolution is 3000 and minimum 2000.

You have to remember that CS:GO is very cpu intensive game, so if you have at least two displays, open task manager to one display, start streaming CS:GO and watch cpu usage percent.

disable areo , some reason csgo has a issue with it when i tried to stream
also csgo watching it in 30 fps makes no diffrence to your gameplay
also run steam csgo and obs as admin
bitrate 3000
if your still having issues try alocationg csgo and obs to diffrent cores
and yes disable sli it will cause issues with obs

i have tried both game capture and monitor capture both are the same issue...

use multithreaded optimizations is checked yes...

i turned off all of that so when i open up anything on my computer it's always under admin.

you want my log file? i'm confused on what your asking here...

yes i have downscaled to the lowest settings and it's still an issue... i do get a slight FPS boost but watching me play on twitch on my laptop is not a pretty sight...

process priority class was set to normal... i'll try high. encoding profile is set to normal...

i've played with buffer size from 3500 to 3000 - 2500 - 2000 - 1500 and all are the same issue...

my max bitrate is currently set to 3500 i'll downscale that to 3000

how do i alocate cs go / obs to different corres...

my "Set launch options" for CS GO is

-tickrate -nod3d9ex -high 128 -freq 120 -console -novid -nojoy -threads 8 +fps_max 500 +cl_showfps 1 +rate 128000 +exec autoexec.cfg

so i'm using all my cores for CS GO as well as OBS if i set "Process Priority Class" to high in advanced settings?

-Edit-

my CPU usage is roughly around 60-70 %

yeah i dont need to edit those at all my computer is beast enough to run this no problem... i'm just doing something wrong.

so apparently i can't run CS GO on 60 FPS and i have to run it on 30... now 30 isn't so bad but i would like to run it on 60... is that even possible?
