My mic can be heard twice when I stream OBS over Discord

I have a pretty specific issue so here are a few things to note about my setup:

- Firstly, I'm using an audio monitor plugin to route my mic input into a virtual audio cable so I can put OBS filters on it and make my cheap mic sound nice anywhere I output the cable. I'm guessing my issue is happening because of this monitoring, though I feel it shouldn't be outputting anywhere else especially since I can't even hear it.

- As the title suggests, I am screen sharing a projector window over Discord. I don't know exactly where the audio for the window comes from given that projectors don't have their own audio, but the stream does have audio which I'm guessing comes from the whole OBS application.

- I'm also using a capture card to get content from a game console and I have the source set to 'Monitor and Output' so myself and the stream can hear it. This audio comes through fine on the stream, but I was also told that my mic can be heard both over Discord normally and again through the stream.

This issue did not happen the last time I used OBS to stream on Discord, but that was also before I added the VAC and audio monitoring to my mic. I am not sure why this happens when it seems like it shouldn't and I don't know how to get around it either. I would greatly appreciate any insight into this problem.
