Love the plugin and have been using it for a couple years.

However, I noticed when making a Move Transition Override filter on a Scene, if I selected a Group (OBS Folder) as the Source, the Override didn't happen.

I worked around this by just using a Nested Scene as a source instead of a Group, so consider this a low priority thing, but it would be nice to not have any nested scenes at all in my setup.

3 "Source simultaneous move"

What I am trying to do is when I activate one filter my camera gets big, game gets small and chat gets smaller as well all smoothly at the same time. I have gotten the camera and game to move at the same time using the simultaneous move but from what I can see both those filters need to be pointing at each other. What I have done in the meantime is just do a next move so once the camera and game get smaller then so does chat but its a distinct - one then the other - so for a second the game covers chat.

I have attached an image breaking it down. You can see the camera and gameplay boarders. Currently no game or camera active though so its just the borders.

it depends on which one you use to activate the sequence, if you start with the camera large - tables small filter as the trigger for the move, you can simultaneous move the following sequence.
1 camera large - tables small = simultaneous move (tables small -camera large)
2. tables small -camera large = simultaneous move (chat move)

then once camera large - tables small filter is triggered the other 2 will activate simultaneously

and repeat this pattern for your reset sequence

i find it easier to number the filters, i use a 2 part number system 1-1 / 1-2, first number indicates the group and second number indicates order of activation

@Paixão can you provide an OBS crash report? You can find them in the OBS help menu.
You can also try the Aitum plugins for multi streaming instead.

I'm evaluating the option of using Aitum. What's holding me back is that the streamelements plugin makes cross-platform streaming so much easier, it's a game changer

I'm also having crashing instances with the Move plugin after updating to 3.1.3. When attempting to resize a source using stream deck to enable the move filter on a scene, OBS freezes and ultimately crashed.
I don't know if it is related to the Stream Elements plugin, but I do have it on my OBS, so big coincidence with user Paixao above.

Will try to remove and rollback to the precious version of the move plugin. will report here again once tested.

@Exeldro Hi! First of all thank you so much for this amazing plugin. It has enabled me to do so many amazing things with my setup, that at this point I don't think I can work without it. I was transferring over my current setup and saw that the latest update had
  • Add option for filters to transition
Do I understand correctly:
If I have 2 source clones in 2 different scenes with the same filter, but different values then the filters themselves would transition between these values? Because that would be awesome!!!

Unfortunately I didn't see any such option in OBS itself for move transition. I am sure it's somewhere obvious and I have just overlooked it. If you could elaborate on exactly how to enable this, it would be really helpful.

@BearClaymore the crash report provided is an older one so it does not seem related.
It sounds to me like a deadlock between move and stream elements plugin. I am not able to reproduce the issue myself? Is there a difference if its triggered by hotkey or by stream deck button? Does resizing sources in the UI also has the issue? Is it not freezing without the stream elements plugin?

Hey, thanks for checking. let me update back to 3.1.3 and test those scenarios. Regarding the crash report, i just used the "upload previous crash report" option from within OBS, my apologies. I assumed the crash report was generated at any point OBS would crash but it seems like these instances are not triggering the crash report generation, the crash report provided is indeed old, i have no new reports in obs-studio>crashes. Weird. Will report back with results on the scenarios and crash reports if any.

Great plugin, Exeldro, like so much of your work.

I am trying to use the Move Video Capture Device filter on a OBSBOT Tiny 4k. Some of the functions work, some do not. It sounds like the plugin uses DirectShow and OSC to control the PTZ.

The controls in the image below are the ones exposed for the OBSBOT. I would like to use Camera Control Property 10, which this guy (https://github.com/johnebgood/the-one-camera-controller?tab=readme-ov-file) says is the Tiny 4k's control for pan. The Camera Control Pan listed does in fact pan the camera, but one cannot control the speed.

If I select Camera Control Property 10 I am unable to change the value from -96.

Any ideas would help.

I use the numeric keypad to make the transition. Whenever I want to test whether the error has been corrected, I quickly press the transition buttons and it crashes.

Without the StreamElements Lives plug-in, this doesn't happen and vice versa
