Move

Move 3.1.2

The great Exeldro!
Might I suggest a feature for your move source or perhaps I'm not setting it up correctly? A sort of override for when you manually change scenes. I set it up and it works great the way I set it up, but when I manually change scenes quickly to compare, the setup stays there and not move at all, because I set the duration for a long time. I made 4 sources to fly in at different times and to stay there for a long time as each one flew in. When I would quickly go through many scenes it appeared not to work. I've deleted and started over many times thinking I didn't do it right. You've thought of everything with many options, so is their a setting that you could tell me about to do this or could you include this in the next update? It will probably save time for future OBS move filterers. Thanks for all do!

Hi Exeldro, I love the plugin!

But I am running OBS 31.0.1 64 bit and using Move plugin 3.1.1.
I have made 2 Move Source with 2 different positions (I had put manually input the X and Y cords as Get Transform was not getting the position cords) and I have linked the 2 filter, so temporary it would move 1 source in first position and the second one in next position, but the source doesn't move as all. Did I encounter a bug? I followed at least 3 different tutorials, all say the same thing, move the source where you want it and click transform.

I found out you can delay transitions on an individual source with a move transition override filter, but there doesn't seem to be a way to do it in general!

Please correct me if I'm wrong--I'm looking to delay the transition I have set for 'appearing items', because I want the 'disappearing items' transition to finish first. In other words, what I envision has the disappearing finish before the appearing starts. Can this be done?

Is there a bug or incompatibility with the 3D plugin?

When setting up transitions, so an image should transition in 3D. The "Start" option shows the correct 3D transition. However, when changing scenes, the transition just jumps to the "final transition values", instead of transitioning as it does in the setup area.

I have one 3D filter setup. I tried this with 2 3D filters, and the results were the same. After the 3D filter, I have two "move" transitions. The scene transition is also setup with a move transition of 2000ms.

The first move is set with all 3D settings at 0, so it looks like a normal image. The timing is 0ms, and the "next" move is setup as the actual 3D altered values. Hitting "start", correctly shows the 1000ms animation.

When switching scenes, the image correctly moved to the new location on the screen, in 2 seconds. However, there is no 3D transition being done. It just changes to the final 3D transformed values, in one sudden change, at the end of the move.

I would expect it to start at 0ms of the scene "move" transition... Then transform with the ease settings, from 0ms to 1000ms. Having transitioned from a flat image to the final 3D altered transition, half way before the 2000ms ease of the scenes transition.

It has the default settings for all other settings.

I tried making two copies, one flat and one 3D, a transition attached to each.

I tried one image copy, with two move transitions. One triggering the next one, with altered settings.

I tried moving the move filters above, sandwiched, after the source image... Nothing alters the output. They all just pop to the final values, from the starting values, instantly.

I also tried delayed starting ms values and non-zero for the "non transformed" source move transition values.

I feel like the "scene move" transition is stopping the "source move" transitions from happening. As opposed to combining them as two individual actions.

How do I combat this? Do I need to use some other methods to get this done?

The image should start, wherever it was... Then move to the scenes new location, while transitioning to the 3D altered display. (Like a side-chat box, shown at an angle. But this is just a basic image.)

Note: The image is a copy, with similar names. I also tried adding the 3D filter to all copies, which didn't change anything. (Eg, this is not a cloned source, which annoyingly retains selective values between scenes. I wanted an image I could alter, without altering every image in every scene.)

Hello !

First of all, thank you very much for creating all these awesome plugins !

I have a problem using Move Action, I'm using Move Transition 2.9.7 and I'm trying to help one of my friend to set up a move action filter. Problem is he is using the last version in which he, strangely, doesn't have start and end delay.
Is it normal ? Will I have to change all my scenes and sources filter if I ever want to update the plugin ? (I'm highly relaying on start and end delay)

Thank you very much !

Have a great day/night !

I have been using Move Source Swap filter to zoom in cameras, which works really well.
But I have problem with returning it back automatically. Cameras will end up shuffled over time and I'm not able to reliably return main camera to primary place with rest of them being sorted as I need.
Is there a way so I can reliably return back to main position or reset to default?

@Exeldro Hello! I have a few questions. I really like your plugin, but I’m encountering an issue. I’m getting two errors, and the plugin doesn’t seem to work. Here are the errors: ↓↓↓
"Error in Load expression; error -30: There was a problem deserializing the inference runtime engine"
"Error in Run landmark; error -1: An otherwise unspecified error has occurred"

For some reason, the "difference" and "factor" options are duplicated (see screenshot 1). When HAGS (Hardware-Accelerated GPU Scheduling) is turned OFF, OBS crashes when I try to add a filter. However, when HAGS is ON, it works fine. Interestingly, I’m experiencing similar issues on my second PC, but there, OBS doesn’t crash when HAGS is turned off... I’m really confused :((

Additionally, when the plugin is launched and I select a landmark, nothing happens, and the image that needs to be processed moves to the corner of the screen (see screenshot 2).

Hello. I had been using this plugin for years to animate a variety of things on my stream, but I hadn't actually updated it in years, with my last version being 2.3.5. The most recent version of OBS caused that version to stop working, so I went to get the newest version, 3.1.1. I set up some of the hotkeys and went to start testing it, but OBS' memory use started quickly going up exponentially, and I had to close it, and from then on every time I opened OBS its memory use would quickly start climbing and it would be unusable in seconds, if it even opened in a usable state to begin with. In the end, I had to re-add the nonfunctional 2.3.5 to return OBS to a state I could actually use it in, which means several elements of my stream aren't working. Do you have any idea why this might be?

Exactly what i am experiencing too. I made a github issue if you want to add something there.

I'm having the same issue. Happening to me after a reinstall of Win 10.

The obvious thing is that some driver or necessary file didn't get installed correctly after I got Win 10 working. But I've reloaded the AR SDK and reinstalled my latest Geforce drivers over and over and over.

I added more info to the github thread.
