Yep, you can add manually in loopMDI the 2 loopback MIDI ports :
MIDIControl Forward IN
MIDIControl Forward OUT

But, if you reinstall MIDIControl, it should add them automatically.
Thanks Etuldan.

I did try a reinstall (removed the folder within %APPDATA% beforehand too) but for some reason the loopMIDI ports weren't added. Does loopMIDI need to be closed before installation?

Probably.
The setup of MIDIControl add some registry information for loopMIDI (before even the webpage for download is displayed).

Any chance you would add more slider functions? I would like to be able to modify the values of any filter properties (ex: color correction > opacity > 0 to 100).

The only app/plugin that allows this level of control is MIDItoOBS, which I've been using for a while, but the only way to configure it is via command line and it is really a tedious headache to set up and keep track of what's been set to what.

The GUI for this plugin looks great in comparison and would be amazing if it allowed that extra level of control.
Done in latest version ! :)

Just set up this with OBS and works well. I'm using an APC40 Mk1 which works fantastic.

Is there is a way I can setup LED feedback? For example if a source is toggled then pad lights stay on or off. I think I might have been missing something as I see if has been mentioned in the previous comment. So I am unsure how, if possible.

Only Launchpad & APC MINI are currently supported.
Could you write down here the exact name of your APC device, as it appear on devmgmt.msc , under the section "Sound, Video and game contollers" (case sensitive) ?

Hey! I really love this app, it's so useful for OBS.
I was wondering if there was a way to choose the color of the keys of the launchpad.

Hello.
It's possible to assign two different messages to the same note?
Ex. Note On -Toggle Source Visibility On / Note Off -Toggle Source Visibility Off

Thank you.

Yes.
Note ON is on "On Key Press" top part, while Note Off is on "On Key Release" bottom part, in the Keybind configuration window.
And you can assign as many actions as you want for the same event (Show some source, hide some others, mute, etc)

Hi guys congratulations for this very useful program,
I have a little problem with the slide control.
I set the slide for example opacity, and when I go to use it if I activate it is immediate, while when I go to disable it takes 3 seconds, is it possible to reduce this lag?
On which filter are you experiencing this issue ?
MIDIControl 'only' forwards a signal to OBS, and should not add additional delay.

Hi there,

just tested the midi plugin. While having the midi editor open, I somehow pressed a button on my midi device and then OBS crashed (see attachment).

Hello Etuldan,
Amazing program. I was using a custom python script a while back to map midi binds in obs. Needless to say it has been broken for a while. I found your controller and I am thrilled at the user friendly nature. I was hoping for a small request. Would you be able to add the option the "save replay" under the misc options? Thank you in advance.

Hi,
Do you have the lastest version of OBS with latest version of OBS Websocket plugin ?

hi Etuldan, thanks for your reply.
I'm seeing it on the opacity filter. example, imposed on obs midicontrol:
-Select the slider, On Slider Change -> Adjust filter -> color correction -> opacity.
when I raise the slide the command is immediate, when I lower it, it takes 5/6 seconds before it deactivates.
