I recently bought a Focusrite Scarlett Solo 4th Gen and a Shure Beta 58A connected via XLR.
I tried recording in OBS, and I'm noticing a latency/sync issue between the desktop audio and the microphone sound in the final video. However, when I use the Direct Monitor on the Scarlett with my headset (Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro 80ohms), everything is perfectly synced. The delay only appears in the OBS recording.
I tried recording with another microphone using the exact same setup and cable, and it had no latency. This makes me think the issue is related to the mic, but since it's an analog mic, I don't understand how it could cause latency.
I have already checked my settings: the mic, Focusrite Control, and OBS are all set to 48kHz sample rate.
Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? Thanks!
