When ending a recording I would like to know the recording duration.
For Event Stop Recording
The end timestap prints 00:00:00 Record time marker, not recording.
Can this state the duration of the recording? Eg 0:18:30

I can work it out from the diff in start & finish time, but having multiple recording it'd be easier to have it visually there

I heard something about the linux version only working with ubuntu, or was that a specific version of ubuntu? I'm running Linux Mint Debian Edition 6 -- does it work on that?

I like to live stream some game development, but am recording segments instead of the whole stream. Would this be a problem for InfoWriter? I also read somewhere that it opens a new text file for each recording, is that true? because if yes than that would be very useful to me, as I want to do the segmented recording to edit easier and faster.

The screenshots on the "overview" page, shows "hotkey text" and then also has like 6 different hotkeys, why 6 hotkeys, and how come it doesn't use OBS hotkeys themselves for the hotkeys?

Thanks for reading and/or replying.

Hi!

I'm curious, as you can see, the folder structure for Windows has changed since version 2.7.0. However, the instructions for installing the files remain the same.

Is the author monitoring this?
Where should I install the .dll files now: to the "obs-plugins" folder (as in the instructions) or to the "bin" folder (as in the distribution)?

I was about to say you should just use the installer, but then I realized that option has disappeared...

Either way, you only need this one:

And it needs to be put in \Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\obs-plugins\64bit

Hey folks,

When I check the log file, after each timestamp it says "Record Time Marker", and there is a line gap to the next time, both of which are stopping me from pasting the timestamps into my notes sheet. I have all the options disabled.

Alternatively, I can use output format CSV, and all the values come out as H:MM:SS, with the comma at the end, which means I have to find and replace the comma with nothing every time I record so it formats correctly. It also doesn't mark when recording starts or stops, meaning it's difficult to discern between different recordings.

Also, the text file always goes to my output file, with just the one file, no matter what options I chose. It doesn't create files with the same name as my recordings, which would be really helpful for keeping track of everything.

Is anyone able to help or had these issues? Cheers
