I'm using Hauppauge HD PVR and I've been getting the red box as well as a lot of people.

I am using Hauppauge HD PVR and i am getting the red screen. I have updated all my drivers as some websites suggest. I am getting the following message.

I would also love to know when hauppauge hd pvr is working. When it is, this will be the even further so the perfect program for me.

Please fix this soon. :) I seem to have the same reports the other hd pvr users are getting. Please keep us updated!

adding another device to the list:
Diamond GC1000
"DIAMOND USB 2.0 HD 1080 Game Console Video Capture Device GC1000 USB 2.0 Interface"

DShowDiagnostic only retruns: "Device: Fujitsu H5x Video Capture"

red screen when attempting to use inside OBS - it knows there's a device there - and the configure shows 1 signal and 1080 lines detected - but there is no resolution to choose from as well as no frame rate to pick
i can manually type in "1920x1080" and "30" or "29.97" for frames - but all i ever get is a red screen (same as the Roxio Game Capture HD Pro)

i can capture the window from Diamond's strange capture program - but i'd rather put those system resources into OBS and streaming

I just wanted to reply that although there is a possibility that I may not be able to get some of these devices working, posting here does help for the future when I do get around to looking more thoroughly at it. I can't guarantee that I can get anything/everything working for everybody, but just because I haven't made any specific fixes for anyone doesn't mean I'm not going to. I greatly appreciate the help regardless.

Remember to also try switching the output format before reporting here as well if possible

Apologies, my previous post regarding the Blackmagic Intensity Pro can be disregarded. After tinkering with the config a bit more I got it working by specifying a custom resolution and frame rate - which I thought I had tried previously but I apparently not. :) Too much tinkering I guess!

Jim, I wanted thank you so much for all your hard work. I just recently discovered OBS and it is truly AMAZING!!! :D I'm really excited for the future of OBS. As a platform agnostic user I am definitely looking forward to those Linux and Mac versions!

Knjazvetal - try using I420 as your "output format" in the properties of the source, that should fix it. Also, if possible, upgrade to 0.47, that may fix it automatically as I have it now prioritizing I420 over RGB24 (RGB24 seems to not always be RGB24 from what I've seen)
