Hi, I was trying to use my Nvidia GPU (GPU 1) for the NVENC encoder, but encoder error says that I have to set this back to GPU 0, (Intel Integrated graphics) due to the error. Can somebody please explain why I cannot use my Nvidia GPU for NVENC encoding? I do not want to use the Intel integrated graphics for encoding.

You need to set the GPU as default video adapter in your system.

I have now set OBS running on my integrated graphics and now it's using my Nvidia GPU for the encoding, thank you so much for your help.

I am running into this issue after recent windows and NVIDIA updates. Using the NVIDIA Control panel and Windows 11 Graphics settings, I have set the NVIDIA Card as the default. Any ideas?
