Encoder crashing mid stream / pc becoming sluggish the longer i'm live

BTW, when you encode that will be "The Test" to determine if it is in fact hardware failure (encoder section). Good vibes for Monday.

So as expected the encoder held with no issue. No errors no crashes no resets. The one thing i will say is that this driver seems a bit weaker for dead by daylight in particular then more recent drivers so i might have to go out and experiment with a more recent driver that doesn't have the same issues as current drivers do. All in all I'm happy we got it resolved and even tho my fps is not locked at 120 the whole time i can still stream the game and it wont randomly crash so that's a win in my book! Log for proof its not happening anymorehttps://obsproject.com/logs/zEF1gT5gDRyjDt3B

SOLVED TLDR:
1. Reinstall an older driver (in my case https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/drivers/details/237785/) [this actually solved the issue completely]
2. Update your obs plugins / Nvidia video and audio sdk's
3. Removed unused scenes and sources, remove game captures in a scene so you only have 1
4. clean install your driver using DDU.

Huge shout out to @rockbottom for helping me solve this. I legit thought i was cooked for a while!

Sweet! Nice & stable.

120HZ should eliminate the Rendering Lag. I would work on streamlining that Scene Collection, lots of wasted resources there.

Connection stalls close to 5%, might need to bag the multi-out until you get it figured out/cleaned up.

Some audio lag is happening during your encodes. It could be a routing issue, the Source or your CPU is overloaded.

I think this is the correct Source. Device Timing is being used & the device is lagging.....

20:06:34.475: use device timing: 1

20:07:27.361: Max audio buffering reached!
20:07:27.362: adding 917 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 960 milliseconds (source: browser audio wave)

3:05:41.699: Source browser audio wave audio is lagging (over by 10692961.70 ms) at max audio buffering. Restarting source audio.

Captions are also lagging at several points, not sure what affect that is having as I have never used them.

I'm not to sure about this honestly, its still happening now but i cant hear any delay or missing audio. Both also only happen when initializing obs or starting the encoding and never return. so i think I'm alright there?

The dropped frames are also partially because my provider is just having issues as of recent sadly but dropping 1 of the 3 stream deffo helped. https://obsproject.com/logs/bJsRJsR08HC9Ozlm

I also tried changing my display to 120hz but it got a lot more tearing and input lag then when I'm on 170 so i had to switch back. Maybe the issue is that i forgot to start on 120hz and switch mid stream/game but ill have to test that more.

I'm also still looking for a stable driver that's more updated then this one just to see if game performance can be improved. but so far no luck.

OBS must be closed when making any system changes so that refresh adjustment wasn't in play.

Rendering Lag has improved slightly since your last log but load must be reduced further to eliminate all of it. Your Scene Collection is wasting resources. Try creating a New Scene Collection, add just (1) Source & test.

Dropped frames improved from 4%+ to 0.6 - 0.4%.

Had to roll & get my lawn done. The Kentucky Blue Grass that I planted last fall looks freakin' amazing, looks like a golf course.

Driver is stable as it gets. Look at my uptime, 269 days with no crashes. The instability most likely is in your Scene Collection or your rig.
