Elgato-OBS Laptop Issue

So, when I have this all set up on my Desktop I can see my PS4/Switch/etc stuff just fine while OBS is running. However . . . on my laptop this seems to be a different issue. As soon as I pull up OBS, my TV screen goes black and the sound is repeatedly cutting out. But sure enough, I close OBS and it's all back to normal again. I should point out my Switch is completely unaffected and views just fine. It's JUST when I want to use my PS4. I bought my laptop specifically so I could record my PS4 via OBS without the need of a big clunky PC. Any thoughts?

Well I figured it out (I did try what was mentioned in the one link that is stickied). I had recently had to turn on the Enable HDCP when I wanted to watch a DVD. And it dawned on me after I googled it that it was mentioned to disable that. And sure enough, it works fine.
