corrupted mp4 (black screen) on HVENC HEVC

NVENC HEVC (h.265) corrupts my mp4 file.
(h.264 working, like in version 27.4.2)
black screen on recording, if video is longer than 20 minutes.
hevc 265 codec - installed
recording format - mp4
windows admin rights - does no fix

A corrupted mp4 is gone. No fix for it
That's why you must record in MKV format and then remux into mp4

MP4 files can get corrupted if they aren’t finalized properly. To avoid this, record in MKV and use File > Remux Recordings in OBS to convert it to MP4 afterward. Make sure your NVIDIA drivers are up to date, switch to Constant Bitrate (CBR) for better stability, and test shorter recordings to check if the issue happens at a specific length. If the MP4 is already corrupted, it’s hard to fix, but you can try VLC’s "Convert/Save" function or an MP4 repair tool.
