GrumpyDog, this timer looks like exactly what I need. I work for a manufacturer that has a machine that is occasionally dropping parts. It's unpredictable when it happens, so my company would like to record it, but not have it be an extremely long 8 hour video to sort through should we need to review the video.

I would like to set the camera up to start recording at the same time each day for about 8 hours. But when it is recording, I would like it to record for 15 minutes, stop and save what it has, then start recording again for another 15 minutes, and continue that process throughout the full 8 hour cycle. How do I set it up to do that in the advanced timer?

Not sure this script is the best solution for this problem. It seems you should be looking for a recording scheduler?

limit is reached? Would you mind sharing how you use the timer, such mode and so forth?

is there a way to have the hours go above 24 hours? im doing a 100 hour stream and it just reset after 24 hours, i don't want the days showing just hours

Hey GrumpyDog! Thanks so much for making this it's been heaps of help. I'm currently having issues with the Audio option. It's not in any of the scripts at all and I wanted to hotwire the audio with the countdown, any advice?

UPDATE: I managed to connect it after exploring but now my issue is that whenever it's in studio mode the audio becomes inactive. Is there any solution on this?

I'm also having trouble with the Reset. I'm seeing mentions of reset configuration options online, but I'm not seeing much configurability in the script options. I'm trying to use a separate source's visibility to control the reset, and I'm not seeing this or any other options with Manual or Auto Reset selected. Thanks for the help!

You will need to give more info on this. Confirm your OBS version, OS (Windows or Mac).

I suspect this issue is related to an OBS release bug because the script does not rely on view modes

I will have to test. Please let me know how you reproduce this bug, such as modes and settings.

There is likely a specific sequence (of events) that produce the bug. Need to identify it, reproduce it and then report it.
