I also had a fairly old version of the plugin (since the developer didn't add update information to the
obsproject.com site), but since everything worked, I wasn't worried. However, after upgrading to
OBS v32, the plugin stopped working and had to look for solutions.
I can confirm that the combination of
OBS Studio 32.0.1 + OBS Closed Captioning Plugin 0.33 (this is the latest version of the plugin presented on the developer’s page on
github.com) works properly and fully on Windows 10.
So, if
OBS v32.0.1 users have problems using this plugin, the problem is somewhere else. You are either using an old version of the plugin, or you have conflicts with other plugins/scripts, or your installation of OBS itself is corrupted. Or something else like that.
You can verify that the latest version of the plugin (0.33) is working properly by disabling all other plugins.
