Capture Card Won't Properly Play Audio on my New Computer

I have a cheap Lemorele capture card that only has an HDMI port, nothing else. This is my only capture card. I've been wanting to record gameplay from my Nintendo Switch with OBS, which I've done before. On my older, less powerful, falling-apart computer, it worked fine. The only problem I had there was that my computer wasn't powerful enough to fully handle OBS. I could still hear the audio fine.

I got a new, more powerful computer a few months ago, and I decided to try using OBS there. I ran into a problem, though: my capture card can record video perfectly fine, but the audio is always messed up. I saw that my capture card is also listed as a mic, and it sounds like it's being recorded through a crappy mic. So crappy, it doesn't even pick up the game music. Only higher-volume voice clips and sound effects. I got it to record sound properly only once, but now I forgot how to make it work. Now I'm just stuck with this crappy audio. Does anyone know how to fix this?

i have this exact same problem. i've tried everything but still doesn't work. do you fix that by any chance?
Me 2, i took a look at my log files ( which i fully don't understand ) it indicated that the video capture device failed on all accounts. When I go into the audio/mixer video capture device is in the INACTIVE status with no way to put it in the ACTIVE status. Community Help say to post your log file shortly after the issue happens . So they can get an in depth look at your system setup and error codes. I guess stats for nerds (smart people) For some reason i can't copy/paste the info on the forum and I don't know any other way how.
