Can't screen record on MacOS

I am running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7 on a macbook air (not sure what year it is)
I have uninstalled and reinstalled OBS twice, and it still doesn't appear in the Screen Recording options in system preferences. I can only display capture the OBS window.
Can someone please help me with this? (and also tell me how to send a log?) I'm sorry fi I sound stupid, I'm in highschool and I'm not good with tech stuff that just.. doesnt work for some reason

So I fixed it, but now I have a new issue.
I'm trying to use VTube Studio with the greenscreen background, but since I am on a mac I have "syphon client" instead of game capture. I clicked on the sources, and nothing was there. I have VTube Studio open in the background but nothing is working. PLEASE help me, I really need a reply or something because I can't find any tutorials on how to fix this because all of them use Windows!
