Question / Help Can I record 1080p60? / Can I stream 1080p60?

I am new to the recording and streaming side of the internet I would really like to try recording and streaming and I was wondering if anyone could help me.

My system specs are:
OS: Windows 10 pro 64-bit
CPU: ryzen 7 2700x @4ghz
RAM: 16gb @3200mhz
GPU: MSI Armor RX 580
MB: Asus ROG Crosshair VI Hero

Running two sessions with different settings (high quality for recording, lower for streaming) will be difficult because you either need to run both on your CPU, both on your GPU, or one on each, on top of the load of running whatever you're capturing.

The AMF encoder on your 580 isn't as good as Nvidia's NVENC, but it's better suited to high bitrate, so use that for recording and x264 for streaming, but depending on what content you're dealing with, this may be too much load for a single PC setup, depending.
