Question / Help Black screen, please help!

Hi everyone, I just got a new PC and I've been trying to set up my obs for twitch streaming and everything works fine until I'm in game, it will just show a black screen. The game I'm trying to stream is League of Legends and I have an integrated Intel HD 4400 graphics card, I'm not really sure what the problem could be as I've looked over the forums and watched countless YouTube videos to try to fix the problem but most of the troubleshooting threads I've seen have been for laptops, any help would be REALLY appreciated. Thank you so much!

ok, so u want to make a scene, right click the box next to "scenes" click capture game and click lol while u have it open

@Jenn It looks like the issue is with how you have the sources in your scene set up. In the current arrangement your monitor capture source appears above your game capture source. This will work while you're in the LoL lobby, but once you launch the game in fullscreen mode monitor capture will go black. And because the monitor capture source is listed above your game capture source, monitor capture will be "on top" of game capture in your scene and cover it up.

There are a few ways to deal with this.

1. You can try moving your game capture source above monitor capture in the list; when the game isn't running the game capture source will become transparent and monitor capture will be visible.

OR

2. You can remove the game capture source entirely and use a single monitor capture source for everything. This will also require that you go into LoL's video options and configure the game to run in borderless windowed mode.

OR

3. You can create two scenes, one for the LoL lobby and one for the LoL client. In the lobby scene you can add a monitor capture source, and in the client scene you can add a game capture source. Then use the Simple Scene Switcher plugin and configure it to automatically change scenes so it switches to the lobby scene when you're in the lobby and the client scene when you're in the game client.
