hi, im using obs to record last 1.5 min in csgo on faceit servers (faceit anti-cheat doesn't allow nvidia's shadowplay dll to inject due to security or smthng). i like to record at 120fps because i can review them at 0.5x or 0.25x speed. would 3 cores/6 threads be enough for this task? my plan is to limit obs to one half of cpu and limit csgo to second half of cpu (it doesn't need that much cores) using process lasso or something. i don't really plan to stream at this moment.
i am recording through Display Capture (sometimes game capture won't work and record some other window with the gameplay audio), base and output resolutions are 1280x1024 (so is the in-game resolution), nvenc, vbr, bitrate 13000, max 17000, keyframe interval set to auto, quality preset, profile - high, look-ahead and psycho visual tuning are turned on, b-frames are set to 2.
i5-11600 (non-k), 16gb 2400mhz, rtx 3070.
Max Turbo Frequency 4.80 GHz
Processor Base Frequency 2.80 GHz
6 Cores, 12 Threads
monitor is 144hz, is there problem recording at 120fps or no? or should i set 144fps in obs? in-game fps is around 400, lowest is maybe 250
