First of all, don't get it from their website. Instead, get it from their GitHub as they also have ZIP files for portable installs.

hello i have a problem, i'm tryng to record while streaming whit this and for some reason my vertical scene that only has my game capture as source will always record my mic even if it's not there, i want to record a clean gameplay without my microphone and stream with my mic at the same time.
your canvas is vertical, you will need to make your sources fit within the canvas

Did you have any success with your query? I’ve got the exact same issue.
Accepting that transitions are not linked (from main scenes to vertical scenes), I thought to myself, ‘ill just re-create the transition using the ‘Vertical Scene Transitions’ found in the Docks menu.
Sadly, my experience is that, although I can apply a Vertical Move transition, it applies it to all Vertical scenes. When I attempt to use a Transition Override (on the Vertical scene), when I select another transition type or transition duration, it does not apply (it’s almost like the buttons don’t work). Also interesting, there is no default ‘duration’ field in the Vertical Scene Transitions Dock like there is with the regular Scene Transitions Dock.
I found this is still the problem whether or not the vertical scenes are linked to the main scenes.
I’d be forever grateful if someone can help me out asap?

My problem is that I'm using webhooks to change the scenes of my horizontal default scene.
Is there a way to trigger the vertical scenes via webkoos?

No resolution to this issue so far. Hopefully in future updates? We will see I guess.
I haven't been able to figure out a good work around either. I tried the same thing as you did with the override, had the same experience. If you figure something out please let me know. Thanks.

if it still crashed on 4.4.0, you can send us an email with reproduce steps
there looks like there are webhooks for vertical scene switching independently of the main canvas
I have a problem with the encoder while using the Vertical Plugin to stream on TikTok and Twitch at the same time. The TikTok live just freezes and I can't stop the virtual camera at all, so I have to restart OBS and stop the stream on Twitch. Here's the log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/fpM13NFw76CqFtDc

I find a 100% crash caused by vertical-canvas, please confirm.
ENV:
OBS 31.0.3
vertical-canvas 1.5.2
steps:
1. run obs, show vertical scene and vertical sources,
2. add a scene source into vertical scene, then delete this source
3. click top menu named "Scene Collection" and choose "New", switch to a new created scene collection
4. OBS crashed
