TrackSpot™ Remote is a browser-based control surface for OBS Studio. Build a layout of buttons on your own machine, then let an operator anywhere in the world open a browser, join your session, and run it.

OBS is never exposed to the internet. Every action runs locally on the host machine.

Who Remote Is For​

• Streamers who want to run their stream from a phone, tablet or second machine instead of alt-tabbing out of the game.
• Anyone handing operation to a co-host, a producer or a friend who is not in the same building.
• Long events that need the desk passed between people and time zones without passing the OBS password with it.

Remote controls an OBS instance you already run. It does not encode, host or restream your video, and it is not a replacement for OBS itself.

Why Did We Build It?​

We broadcast sim racing events all around the world and our team are all in different countries with different internet conditions and we often find that during our broadcasts we need an extra pair of hands on OBS.

We also find that our OBS scene collections have many repetitive or sequenced actions and whilst we are familiar with plugins that allow users to create macros (sets of actions) we can't easily share those with our team to interact with.

TrackSpot Remote solves both these problems. The tool allows you to create Macros, Audio controls and Variables and design a layout of buttons that can be shared with others. You can control things like scenes, Preview, transitions, Studio Mode, sources, groups, browser sources, audio, streaming, recording, the virtual camera, replay buffer, filters, media and delays.
