This plugin is essentially a fork of the existing NVENC plugin, which allows users to encode video using their NVIDIA graphics card, except this one has been downgraded to NVIDIA Video Codec SDK v11.1 which allows it to support old NVIDIA graphics cards again, like those in the Kepler series (such as GTX 650, Quadro K420, etc.). This plugin should still work with newer NVIDIA cards, but I cannot guarantee that.
Feature support will vary depending on which specific graphics card you have installed.
The minimum driver versions are as follows (copied from nv-codec-headers):
Linux: 470.57.02 or newer
Windows: 471.41 or newer
Do note that on Kepler cards, the most recent drivers that you can use are from the 470 series, and anything more recent will not work.
