Native NowPlaying Widget for OBS 1.8

Version 2.0 which changes to 100% native cpp code (just 1 file now, not 4) is now available on the github page. There are also many new features in this release, so if youre still using a 1.0 release theres lots of cool new stuff here for you. The highlights are probably the ability to use an image as the widget background, and the ability to import/export your settings, but there are many more features, as well as a fix for displaying unicode characters (Japanese, chinese, etc), so i definitely recommend you upgrade if you havent had the chance yet.

If you already have 2.0-beta2, this file is identical. No issues found during testing at all, so you do not need to upgrade.

Release 2.0-beta is now available on github. This new release adds a ton of new features, some that I wanted to do, and some that were requested.

Big changes are the ability to toggle album art, the ability to use a background image instead of a static color, and the ability to "autohide" the widget X number of seconds after a track change. There are many more features, all of which are detailed in the release notes on github.

Please let me know if you have any problems with this release, my plan is to beta test it for a few days, fix any bugs that people may find, and then publish the release version sometime mid-week.

I have been soaking most of the big changes myself on my own stream for about a day, and havent found any problems so far.

A new version has been released on github. This will probably be the last version for a while as it now really has all the features I could want, and 2 new features that were requested, the ability to disable album art, and localization for the 15 most popular languages.

Full release notes are on github. Additionally, the installation method has changed as now we have to distribute localization files as well as the plugin dll's, so please make sure to review the installation instructions and the screenshot included in the release notes and the readme.
