Latest Updates
OBS Studio 30.2 is out!
This release brings some visual updates to the UI, a new Hybrid MP4 recording format, a wide array of fixes and improvements, as well as multitrack video output.
Long time contributor Rodney has developed a brand new MP4 container format that combines the resiliency of Fragmented MP4 with the wide compatibility of traditional MP4.
More technical information is available on our blog.
A major update to our theming system brings better visual consistency and streamlines future improvements. Colors and sizes have been tightened up throughout the application and the audio mixer has received a small visual update.
Having multiple quality options makes it easier for more viewers to watch your live content. Multitrack video allows OBS to encode additional resolutions directly instead of the service having to re-encode your original stream.
