Question / Help [WIN8] Freeze on first frame

Whenever I try to stream/preview with either window or game capture, the first frame loads into OBS just fine, but then it never updates. (Just those sources, when I have my cam enabled, that keeps updating/streaming just fine)

This happens for everything, be it a game or a browser or just a command window.

Has anyone else had this problem or know how to fix it?

Can't be sure without the log, but if you have the object/window that you are capturing minimized, the frames won't update in your preview. If you are playing a game on the computer that you are streaming from, and only have one monitor, you might want to record files locally while you're playing and watch them after to check.
