Question / Help Why i can't do 1080p60 ?

Hello !


Here is my configuration :

- Motherboard : Gigabyte H97M-HD3
- GPU : GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G
- CPU : Intel Core I7 4790k 4GHz
- SSD : SSD Kingston 120Go
- RAM : HyperX Fury 4x 4Go (16Gb)

When i want to stream in 60FPS on OBS, the software tells me that my CPU is overloading. Preset CPU is veryfast, profil is set to high.

Can someone explain to me why it does not work? I am very frustrated to have to broadcast in 1080p 30 FPS

It does not work, because your CPU is not fast enough for Gaming + encoding in 1080p 60fps x264 very fast.
Use NVENC to encode your stream, to remove some load from the CPU.
