New to streaming and OBS. I use a capture card (Elgato HD60 Pro) and run a dual monitor set up, 1 144hz and 1 60hz
My PC specs:
i7-4790k 4.0ghz/CoolerMaster V8 Tower Cooler
16gb G.SKILLS Ripjaws
MSI R9 290x
Asus Maximus Hero VII
Elgato HD60 Pro Capture Card
nVidia case/4 fans
850W Corsair PSU
-Nothing is overclocked, I don't have the knowledge.
Internet specs:
5mbps download
7mpbs upload
-Wireless
My wants :
I want to broadcast 1920x1080p 60fps without having noticeable fps drops in game while playing music for my viewers off of YouTube. What bitrate and buffer speeds should I use? I understand that a lot of viewers may not have great internet speeds, but I also want to maintain great video and audio quality.
When streaming with OBS will my 144hz refresh rate on my primary monitor be locked at 60hz?
Should I use OBS Multiplatform, or the original? What's the difference?
Thank you!
