I have been using obs for the month or so, and I'm pretty much getting used to it. It's just the bitrate and other jargon. I stream and when looking back at the vods, my stream is blurry. Is there a simple solution to this or will I have to upgrade some things? But here are my specs as follows:

i7 Intel cpu
6700 (4.00 GHz) cpu speed
Nvidia GForce GTX 980
(Don't know what RAM it is)
 
Drop to a 1280x720 downscale. Switch to 30fps. Drop to 2000kbps bitrate/buffer. Swap to AAC audio (MP3 is provided as a fallback method only, and should not be used).
 
I just want to say thanks, but I think my I could do more with my 62.05 Mbps internet. Every time I stream I get pixely playback from my viewers. Is it a computer issue, or is it just something I have to live with until I can upgrade to a Titan?
 
No you cant do more with your upload speed, twitch's max is 3500 kbps. 2000 kbps is the sweet spot to minimize viewer buffering.
 
Log shows preset "SuperFast" and i7-6700K CPU. Change preset to "VeryFast" to improve quality. Maybe "Faster" for more quality at a cost of more CPU usage. Too much CPU usage causes frame drops/duplicate on stream.
 
Omen, it's all up to optimizing your bitrate with your viewers in mind. You can have gigabit upload speeds, but your viewers won't have gig download speeds, much less to the Twitch video servers. If you try to stream at 1gbps in that case, no one will be able to watch. That's an extreme example, but it holds true scaled down. Few will be able to watch your stream without buffering if you run at 3500kbps. Even 2500kbps will cause many to buffer, according to the information that Twitch released about user buffering metrics.
