Question / Help Webcam spike

Hi,

Since I'm using OBS and switched to NVENC I have the problem my webcam "spikes" lag 0.5s, like my cam is freezed en goes further....

I've tried all bitrate settings, from 1000 to 3000.

Nothing helps...

Somebody could help?

Each random time like 20sec-50sec or something else it just spikes likes 0.5s.
when I preview theres no problem, if I open the stream myself on browser it shows the spikes.

No problem with x264 as encoding, strange... But I want to use NVENC
Tested in windows & cs:go. Same problem

Why would you use NVENC with such an excellent CPU at your disposal for x264?

Because when I stream with x264 I have still decent fps but the "smoothness" is going away with x264, there's some blurry and alot of players who are streaming with x264 in cs:go will tell you the same. With the NVENC its like im not streaming, my fps stays stable and everything is so smooth... Also a strange fact, viewers like the quality more of the NVENC.

If there would be a fix I can stream with x264 without the smoothness going away it should be nice but there isnt ;) I know like 10 streamers and they have the same issue.
