when i add video capture device most of the times it crashes

oh, how would i do that?Then OBS is not crashing. If it's freezing that's a different thing, likely caused by outdated VTuber software. You could try the OBS 29.1 beta.
edit: i also only have vseeface wich is updated to the most recent version
