Question / Help WebCam audio option results in audio fluctuation?

I'm using .624b 64 bit, and i disabled microphone under audio settings, and went into webcam options, and set the audio device to my mic, this completely solved my desync issue, which is rad, but it has this periodic (you can tap your foot to it) static click, and momentary silence...


You can watch the green audio level bar go to complete silence then complete loudness over and over..

any ideas?

ugh ; adding a delay removes this issue, but causes de-sync... which defeats the purpose of using webcam audio setting.

Yea, I hear it. This is really weird, definitely post a log first so we can see if it's a certain known issue where the scene buffering time can cause audio cutoff. The strange thing though is that if delay shouldn't help with that, it should technically make it worse, so I'm totally baffled at them moment.

God, I can't wait for the new version to become up to parity with OBS1, the audio subsystem is just so much better.
